A full charge will give you 70 minutes of shaving time, which is actually quite impressive. You can use for a dry or wet shaver however you can’t use it in the shower.

There is also a useful LED display that lets you know exactly when it needs to be recharged. The motor is very powerful too and will cut even the thickest of hair with ease.

It comes with a protective carry case should you need to take it on holiday with you. If you are going for a wet shave you have to use foam, it can’t be used with gel, it will slow the motor down.

It’s so small it actually fits neatly into the palm of your hand, it provides a lovely and rather comfortable shave, it’s now easy to shave your head by yourself.

One major plus is that it can be used plugged in too, you can also use it cordless. The stand that it comes with is rather useful, just pop it on there to dry after you have cleaned it.

Having a strong motor it even works great cutting afro hair. The other down side to afro shaving is that the blades will need changing more often, around 4 months. The blades are fairly cheap to replace anyway.

Unfortunately the batteries can’t be replaced, you will have to buy a completely new shaver when they go dead. They should last for years though.

It’s not the closest shave you will get, probably not the best shaver for the completely bald look, although many use it combined with a manual blade, which works really well.

It has a built in trimmer too so you can get your side burns looking neat and tidy. It’s so smooth on the skin too, perfect for people that suffer from shaving rash and burns.

The LED display lets you know when it needs recharging and the battery used in the shaver is top quality and will not be affected by repeat charges. People state that the battery lasts a long time too, will definitely last longer than two years.

Ladies even swear by these shavers for shaving their legs and say that they give them the closest shave that you can get other than using a manual blade.

To fully charge the shaver it takes 1 and a half hours and can then be charged up for just 10 minutes from dead to give one quick shave.

Cleaning is super easy to, just run it under the tap, or even better, shave in the shower and clean it while you shave. Many people find it very hard to find a fault with this shaver.

This too has a pop up trimmer which is great for trimming your side burns or even your moustache. One major plus is that it can be used plugged in or cordless.

It does take a long 8 hours to fully charge, this will give you a rather poultry 35 minutes shave time. Not the best, but at this price it can’t be grumbled at.

The shaving heads need replacing every 12 months or so, will still work out cheaper in the long term over shaving your head manually with a blade.

It’s probably so popular because it can be used on all power supplies worldwide all around Europe and in the USA. One big let down is that it can’t be used with water, foam or gels.

It is however really good on sensitive skin so you won’t need to use gels or any foam anyway. Because it can’t be used with water you are going to have to clean it with a brush.

It’s also been noted to be a quiet shaver, not sure if anyone wants a quiet head shaver but this is one. Not sure it is powerful enough for thick or afro hair, will be good to use as an everyday head shaver to keep it at bay.

It does perform really well for such a cheap shaver and is even good at cutting under the nose area which many other electric shavers have problems with.

It is a full size shaver so is probably not the best around for taking away on holiday, however it is lightweight and holds its charge really well.

For thick hair the Braun is definitely the way to go even though it is a lot more expensive than the Norelco, for a cheap no frills daily use head shaver this is the one.

Being light and mostly made from plastic it does look as cheap as it costs, but who cares, it’s all about the cut quality and if it does the job well that you have bought it to do.

It’s not a massive concern, but it’s not overly comfortable to hold, it will feel a little bulky in most hands. Although it states blades need to be changed every 12 months with low usage they can last 2 or even 3 years.

The cord is a little short and does not stretch very far at all, could well be a big problem for anyone wanting to use it as a head shaver.

This shaver can be used in the shower or even the bath, yes it can be fully submerged in water. Because the motor is fast you will experience no tugging or pulling at your hair at all, it is powerful enough to cope with thick long hair.

It comes with a travel pouch and is even known to be good on sensitive skin, no more rashes or skin burns with this shaver.

If you look closely at the picture you will notice that the blades arc outwardly, this is done to give you a closer shave making it easy to get into hard to get to areas on your head.

The digital display conveniently lets you know when it needs to be recharged and is so considerate that it even lets you know when it needs to be cleaned to avoid reduced shaving quality.

You can’t use the shaver while it is plugged in, however it can be charged up in five minutes, which will give you enough charge for one head shave.

Many people use this shaver as a head shaver and say it doesn’t leave your head completely smooth although it does feel like it if you don’t rub against the grain.

For a perfectly smooth head shave you are going to have to use a manual blade after you have thinned it out with this electric razor.

If you are going to use it to shave your head daily then it will be okay at keeping things looking smart and tidy, for a completely smooth bald look you may have to look elsewhere.

If you have tender skin on your head then this would be a really good buy and will not cause you any skin burn or other skin irritations, although fast and sharp it is still comfortable on sensitive skin.

Some say that the razors performance will deteriorate after a few years use even when the foil and blades have been replaced, not all experience this but it is something worth taking note of.

Some also experience problems with the power light, not many, but it does happen, so be warned. I suppose this is mostly down to using it in water, if you don’t intend to do this then you will not have this problem.
